Girls reaction after i approaching her?

Today i approuched a really cute girl at the gym and asked her "can you help me with a work out after your done" wile she was working out and talking to her friend. When i said that she gave me like a really surprised or somthing like if im a creep or sumthing but then said yes. I had a hard time understand what that ment because im a white european imigrant but i live in a more urban place with many hispanic imigrants and blacks and i never got that look before by the "badd *** girls" from here. This was a suburban place and she was a.sexy 18 or 19 yr old blond. I left shortly after for another reason and when i passed by her i said "ight next time maby" she responded saying maby next time and she sounded a little freindlier and without the strange look. Does this mean shes not into me and shes just being nice?
