And, the parts from the benz or bmw have to be shipped from overseas, so they have to add shipping costs, which makes it more expensive. The newer Corvette's engines can be easily accessed by the tilt hood. The benz or bmw engines and compartments are compacted and hard to work on, so more labor costs.
